About Us

Hook Village Halls (we have two) are the vibrant hub of village life. Unlike some halls, Hook boasts a host of permanent organisations and regular hirers, complemented by functions and available to hire for parties and other get togethers.

If you would like to see how the facilities at Hook Community Centre or The Elizabeth Hall could cater for your group, club or special event please call 01256 764000 or email enquiries@hookvillagehalls.org.uk

Hook Village Halls

A big thank you from everyone at Hook Village Halls to all our young guests who came along to Hooks Half Term Fun today. Everyone had a great time - even the adults who helped. A special thank you to all the organisations that supported us and especially Hook Parish Council and Jonathan Glen's HCC Devolved Budget who enabled us to put on the Sheldon hall activities for free. £250 was raised by The Base through selling refreshments. Well done everyone and thank you! ...

Hook Village Halls

With the weather looking pretty dire and at the very least changeable this week, don't forget there is plenty going on at your village halls to keep children occupied.

On Wednesday 19th from 11am to 4pm there is Free February Half Term Fun with a great line up of attractions - Mill Cottage Farm with their small farm animals and pets, Special Branch teaching Willow Weaving, the Woodland Trust, Hook In Bloom helping children to sow seeds, Pete West with his reptiles and amphibians, Guide Dogs Trust with their dogs and information about their work, Hart Rangers with their great activities and the Wildlife Trust with all their interesting facts and information. Safari Pete is also making a welcome return but hurry to book your place because there are only a very few left at £2 a session.

The Base will be providing refreshments so do please support them to go on looking after our younger villagers as all proceeds are going to the youth centre.

Then on Thursday it is Hook Books at the Elizabeth Hall from 2pm to 4pm. Not only do we have a huge range of adult paperback fiction but we also have a very wide range of children's books. At only 50p a book come along and top up your monthly book needs to ride out the weather.

Thank you Hook Parish Council, Jonathan Glen's County Council Devolved Budget and all our volunteer organisations for helping to bring the free Half Term Fun to Hook.

Looking forward to seeing you in the village halls this week, love the HVH Team and Volunteers xxx
