About Us

Hook Village Halls (we have two) are the vibrant hub of village life. Unlike some halls, Hook boasts a host of permanent organisations and regular hirers, complemented by functions and available to hire for parties and other get togethers.

If you would like to see how the facilities at Hook Community Centre or The Elizabeth Hall could cater for your group, club or special event please call 01256 764000 or email enquiries@hookvillagehalls.org.uk

Hook Village Halls
Hook's Ceilidh is on Saturday 5th February at the Elizabeth Hall. Come and blow those winter cobwebs away and have some fun with a Ceilidh hosted by Jonathan and Sharon Glen and lovely warming food cooked by Louise, Sandra and Linda. Not only is the favourite meal of haggis, neeps and tatties to be had, but there's also an alternative vegetarian lasagne or chicken curry on the menu. To follow there is a Blackforest Gateau 'to die for', lemon cheesecake, or a fresh fruit salad with home made mango ice cream. Don't worry if you are gluten free as you will still be able to eat haggis and other dietary needs can be sorted. Buy your tickets (£30pp) now by putting thelittleboxoffice.com/hookvillagehalls into your browser. There's a cash bar.Don't miss out on this fun evening book your tickets now! ... See MoreSee Less

Hook Village Halls
Good News Time! We are very much hoping to hold our popular Free Half Term Animal and Wildlife Fun Day in Hook Community Centre on Wednesday 23rd February from 11am to 4pm. More details to follow later but we are spreading out as much as possible and putting Covid precautions in place. We have booked Mill Cottage Farm to bring a mini farm for the back tarmac area, Special Branch will be teaching willow weaving in the Main Hall and One World Animals will have demonstrations upstairs in Holt. We will also have a limited number of voluntary animal and wildlife organisations in the main hall.We are able to keep entry free to the downstairs attractions thanks to Hook Parish Council and Jonathan Glen's HCC devolved budget but we will need to make a small charge for the talks by World One Animals in Holt. As these sessions are very popular and limited attendance, there will be 4 sessions on the 23rd, you will need to book early because they soon get booked. Do not use any links from Facebook but please put www.thelittleboxoffice.com/hookvillagehalls in your browser to book. The Base Youth Centre will be providing the refreshments and all proceeds will go to The Base - so do please support them.Looking forward to seeing you on Wednesday 23rd February, Love from the HVH Team and Volunteers. ...
